I don't care how much you trust your kid ( mostly guys) they will usually stir up some mischief.

The first friend in my circle to have sex was fifteen. He did at home before his parents got home from work.

The first friend in my circle to do drugs did it at home before his parents got home from work. And these are A honor roll students lol.

take it from me. My parents have trusted me for 18 years and were astounded when they found alcohol in my room last week. We are good at doing bad, and being left alone is how it all starts....
Their parents didn't know, or trust their kids. Thanks for the crossection of american youth, your opinion is still invalid on this topic.

Lol. Just keep thinking' that man. Shoot me a pm when you realize that kids aren't Angels.

Last time I heard 70% of kids have sex before they are 17
And 80% drink for the first time before 17. Oh yeah man, crossection of american youth. I'll find a link for validity on the stats.

And I still don't understand how my argument is invalid. I am/represent the kids in question. I'm not saying never to let them be alone, I'm just saying that a lack of supervision almost always at some point equals a lack of responsibility.

Again, thanks for the cross-section of our youth, but your opinon is invalid when considering parenting.

Or get caught fucking his girlfriend in his car.

                        This

I think it was 9 or 10 when i started staying at home alone.

I'd usually walk home by myself when i was in 1st grade and my grandma would be home.

and when i say usually, because my older brother would always stay after school playing football or go out with his friends instead of walking with me... what a dickhead, lol

Alcohol belongs in the fridge, not in your room. I hope that punishment teaches you a valuable lesson on alcohol storage.

When I have beer it goes in the fridge in my room. Hard stuff doesn't belong there.
