I'm not going to dig through the Texas statute to prove your point. Originally the burden of proof was on me to prove what I say, I have, now it's your turn to prove me wrong. And "nu-uh," which is essentially your response here, is not an acceptable rebuttal.
And, like Evil Sean said, ignorance isn't an excuse. How many times have you heard "I didn't know that was against the law" and you still got somebody for it?

I guess it either shouldn't be a ticketable offense, or that cop should fix the headlight then? Not sure why you're running around a merry go 'round with this one trying to find excuses. Like Sean said, ignorance, be it of the law, or of knowingly committing an offense, is not an excuse for breaking the law.

Did I not clearly state there are exemptions?

So, are you conceding my point or are you ragequitting this discussion? An assertion by you does not constitute evidence. The part you spoke about earlier about blocking traffic and whatnot (phone posting FTL) headlights do not apply to because you're comparing apples to oranges in that situation, as headlights do not affect your ability to do your job.

You added absolutely nothing to the conversation, no new arguing points, no new information, just a superfluous statement.
Are you that dense? Do I need to have my 3 year old draw you a stick figure picture in crayon so you can understand?
