I remember growing up in an area that you could take nearly anything and they'd just auction it off for you, take their percentage and done. I'm in a position that I have many items that I need to sell and don't want to deal with CL/Ebay/Garage Sales (Partially because of location and gas).
I've seen 2 auctions that I could find. One in Cumby, TX and one in Durant, OK but I don't know anything about either of them. I just wanted to see if anyone...
1. Had any knowledge of ones closer (specifically N. Dallas area) that dealt in tiny to bigger things - not just real estate, ag..etc.
2. Any knowledge on which one of the further away auctions had a better crowd/setup. (between the Cumby/Durant ones)
3. Any where to get reviews on these auctions? Seems like local auctions really are going away - but they still have a neat place.
Of course, I just remembered I can do the same thing somewhere and have them do it on Ebay - but probably more in-hand cash at a local auction I would think.
