You can do 40 or maybe 45 at best on most. The sheriff lives on one of the worst roads. Anyways, me and my dad leave early one morning around 6:00AM with my 4 year old (buckled into his Simpson racing car seat) we both had fresh open cups of coffee in our hands as we pass the Sheriff in his driveway. He pulls out and follows me for about 1/4 mile, after we pass a side road he turns on the lights I was like hmm. he must have got a call as I'm going right at 40mph any more we would be wearing our coffee. I pull over some to let him by when he gets on my ass and turns the siren on. I go down about 1000 feet and pull over into a pasture entrance. This was the ONLY place to safely pull over unless you just park on the road. He makes me get out stand behind the truck while I give him my DL, CHL, and Insurance he is in my face asking why I was running/not pulling over when he flipped the lights on. I tell him I did not think it was safe, he says I would expect that from some girl but not a man. He then tells me that what I did was a good way to get a ride to jail. I told him well if you will let my dad take my truck and son home we can go I would be happy to explain this to the judge. He claimed I was doing 55mph when I passed by him, I said well give me a ticket and I will see you in court. To my surprise he gives me back my stuff and says have a nice day.

I think he decided that it would not be a good idea to piss off his neighbor since I only live about 1/2 mile from him. It was fairly obvious that he was on a adrenalin rush at the beginning of the stop then calmed down a bunch. My dad said he just didn't get any pussy the night before.
    True MuthaFU&$IN story right there...

Yeah. And since we're on the subject, I felt like actually DRIVING my car this afternoon, so I switched off the traction control and left a parking garage sideways... Right in front of an Arlington cop. Goddamn it.

And he didn't follow me or pull me over. I was shocked.

Yeah they are. Way better looking than the older paint scheme.

I've been sideways 1 time in my mustang in the last 3 or 4 years and it was coming out of a parking lot onto MacArthur right in front of an Irving cop. He pulled up next to me at the light, rolled down his window and said " maybe you should look for cops before you do that next time" LOL! 10 years ago I would have had to get out with my hands on my head and probably gotten 3 tickets or some shit!

I pulled out of the PD parking lot sideways in the Crown Vic. And now that you guys are thinking up a witty response, I come back with I'm just kidding. Just fucking with you.

While we're asking questions, Luis, if I've done deferred for a ticket does it still show up when I get pulled over and you guys run my name? Always been curious about that, because my traffic record from ten years ago would make the inside of a cruiser look like a fucking Christmas Tree at the Griswalds.

You assholes just need to stop breaking the law.

Or maybe it just has to do with what you drive. I've only been pulled over 1 time since I started driving a truck(got a warning for 76 in a 70) for a DD about 5 years ago instead of a mustang. I speed just as bad in the truck as I did in the mustang, but I averaged at least 1 citation a year in the mustang.

When PD runs a driving record, it shows everything including all the deferred and whatnot. There's a different query through tlets for non LE DL inquiries that don't show those. That's what employers use.

It doesn't matter what I drive, especially ten years ago. I was driving everything I owned like Neal Cassady in a stolen car in On The Road. Luckily ten years ago, Contest of Speed wasn't yet a felony.

                            This is correct now.

Not to mention if he sees the violator(LOL) in his city and follows it say from Dallas County to Tarrant County it is still a go on the citation. No issues drving into a neighboring county a few miles to catch someone.

This guy saw you acting crazy, thought you made him follow a little to far, and then figured he would just chew on you a little bit. Also you can bet he ran you for warrants. LOL I am not the get mad type. I like to pull people over and if I am not going to wright them a ticket I will be kinda sarcastic with them and joke with them about being a dumbass. People will fess up to some crazy shit when they know you are not going to wright them.

What about when you move and have a new states DL?

You have to run a specific state for those specific details. The TLETS return usually shows if a driver is license in another state.
