What to do in Jacksonville FLA

Wound up having a trip to Jacksonville fall in my lap for this weekend - I'm going to the Gator Bowl Monday - but outside of that, I don't have a clue what to do there.

Anyone been? Any must see / must do places?

There are some [sarcasm]good strip clubs[/sarcasm] at the corner of Mayport Rd. & Wonderwood...or so I hear.

If you like golf and have a few hundred spare dollars, you could maybe get in a round at Sawgrass (Ponte Vedra Beach). Other than that, hit up Jacksonville Beach, pretty decent night club scene there.

Dude, don't send him to the skank strip clubs right outside the base gates. There are plenty of high class joints in Jville, but neither of those you mentioned are anywhere close, IMO.

Anyway, I'm sure he knows better than to go anywhere near a strip club withing at least 2 or 3 miles of any military base.
