Saturday we met with the funeral director to work on getting all the details setup for my grandmothers funeral. The conversation turned to an interesting topic, that we all think about. I asked him how much he thought a funeral would cost 50 years from now, trying to lighten the room. He said 67% of people now do cremation instead of burial. I was pretty surprised by that number. He said in the next 10 years he didn't think they would be doing hardly any burials.
Pretty interesting to think the x and y generations are mostly going to be cremated.
