embalming fluid and sealed caskets are counter to nature... if you're talking about a raw body in a pine box? ok, that's pretty natural I suppose.

      Fire is pretty natural too

        Nothing more natural then ash.

My dad and brother were both cremated and it was much easier on us to just have a memorial service and a private internment.

Deciding on where to inter when today people are so mobile was the hardest part.

All that sealed casket stuff is BS too. Anyone that believes those things stay sealed needs to take a Geology 101 course.

ha, i was thinking about something along those lines as he was talking.

They ask you if you want the burial to have a "vault" or not. Which is just a big slab of concrete on top of the casket. You are required to have the concrete stone below the casket I believe. He said, that just insures the casket doesn't get wet since it is 6-8 inches off the ground. I was sitting there thinking, right, because water won't rise in an empty space after a hard rain fall.

                No shit.

As for me, I just want a full pyramid with all my wives and slaves buried in it with me with Cypress Hill's "Ain't Goin Out Like That" at full volume on all audio equipment worldwide. Fuck yeah.

A funeral is just a big money grab. Once I learned that, I've been pro-cremation.

I want to be cremated too just to be able to give the tree-huggers one more "fuck you" before I am gone, I'll be increasing my carbon footprint while I'm cooking in the furnace.

China doesn't allow burials anymore. Cremation is required.

I'm surprised they haven't gone with the Soylent Green idea.
