What to do with extra contact lenses?

My son's RX changed for his contact lenses,so I'm left with 6 boxes of Acuvue 2 by Johnson and Johnson.

-4.50 BC 8.3 DIA 14.0 (etafilcon A)

One of the boxes is Acuvue Colors (blue).


They don't expire until 2016, the Acuvue Colors expire March/2015.

Yeah, I know you can't legally sell/donate them but might get lucky and the store may credit/return if the box is still unopened. Never hurts to ask

Your optometrist may take them on exchange, or he may be able to put you in touch with a legal donation program. The Lyon's Club used to take old glasses and unused contacts.

I don't wear contacts so I don't know prescriptions or what his eyes are like but if he was wearing them recently can't he just continue using these until try run out?
