2013 GT or 07+ GT500?

I'm pretty sure that a stock 07-09 GT500 vs a Stock 11-12 will be a nice race with the 5.0 winning albiet by maybe only a few tenths, that alone is worth the price of admission. If it were up too me, I guess if the GT500 is not a daily than go with the GT500, DD the 5.0. And its new, its always a nice thing to know that you are the only one that has driven it, used cars are like rentals, those cocksuckers can dress it up all they want but you never know what kind of abuse it has been through. And NO ONE buys a performance car to get groceries...

That is the lowest I've seen advertised. A few people on here I know have gotten the no option models for in the 26k range. End of year is a beautiful thing.

Yes 24k is a good price for a 300a. I got my '12 300a w/3.73's for upper 26's back in June.

I have a friend with a GT500 and its her daily, premium fuel and 12 mpg's are killing her. Also shes had to replace 2 clutches and host of other things and hers is an 07 too. They are good cars but not for daily driving, thats what makes the 11-13 5.0 so much fun.
They run on 87 octane, get real nice mpg (my auto averages 23) it was rolling back from S.A. at right 32 mpg. And its like having a 99-01 Cobra (03-04 MACH1) as far as having a DOHC with more cubes. IF you want to hear a whine, bolt-on a KBLC like Manny and run in the 9's with an auto.

I was going to post about the same thing. A lady at the bank I use had the same issues, she finally just traded it in the last time she had trans issues. I recently bought a boss 302 and love it. The newer cars are a blast to drive and so much nicer than the older mustangs.

Man the 2013 gt having 420hp stock and 10k less than a 2012 boss 302 with just 24 HP less makes it easy to go for the '13 gt as a daily

Go drive both and see. There is a big differance.

I like my car. electric steering,sync,glass roof,back up camara.14" brakes custom interior lightning nice stereo system, The 11-12 cars are just better made.

The GT500 has some exculsivity but the '05-09s are already looking a little dated. It's nearly a coin toss, but I might give the '13 a slight edge because it doesn't have anything rare/unusual/specific that you might have to fix later and it hasn't been abused.

They won't be making any kind of deals on them in the next few months, but if you're not buying until late next year anyway that shouldn't be an issue. But you probably won't ever find a '13 priced like that '12. I don't see you being happy with a base GT anyway.
