Stupid question for those who have bought no (or low) optioned GTs - Is that about what they sell for?

That is the lowest I've seen advertised. A few people on here I know have gotten the no option models for in the 26k range. End of year is a beautiful thing.

SOLD Sorry to re-list, but I can't edit the title on my other thread and I've changed the price quite a bit. --------------- I have a 2007 GT500, Tungsten Gray with lighter gray stripes. 25.8k miles. The exterior is nearly perfect, interior the same. Has a JLT intake, pulley...

"I have a 2007 GT500, Tungsten Gray with lighter gray stripes. 25.8k miles. The exterior is nearly perfect, interior the same. Has a JLT intake, pulley, and tune. Shaker 1000 stereo system and HID headlights. When I bought the car it had the JLT kit installed with the JLT 91 octane tune but no handheld programmer. It runs perfectly as such and thats how I've been driving it. I will sell the car for $27,595 like this. I also have an SCT SF3 tuner from Jon Lund with 91 and 93 octane tunes on it. I had it installed for a while but didn't notice any difference over the JLT tune on 91 octane (don't have 93 here) so I removed it. I'll include that for $250 more. In the interest of full disclosure the car is a former buyback by Ford because of clutch and tranny issues. All is fine now, with as many GT500's that had clutch issues you'll have to decide how big of a deal that is or isn't. Because of the marked title the price is the lowest I can find nationally. New Continental Extreme Contact tires (~$1200) were put on at 21,800 miles and have no burnouts or abuse. I'm selling the car to buy a new 5.0 to build up."

                  hmmm. trend?

The Coyote is a BA motor and can make power too. To each his own I guess. I personally wouldnt sell a GT500 to buy a GT.

You also see people on svtp go from '11 GTs to GT500s btw.

I had the same decision when I bought my car. I had it down to a 07 Gt500 or the 12 GT. I went with the 12 No option GT.

I know that I'll get vetoed on my vote but I have to go with the 500. In fact, so much so that I'll be searching out a used 500 in the near future for my next toy.

I would think potential resale and the fact that, if you find the right 500, there's a good chance it's been babied and was just some status symbol for a M/A Crisis candidate.

Interested in seeing how this turns out.

I'm right there with you David on the agreeing part. Not on the getting one since I got an 04 Cobra a few months ago lulz.

It's a tough choice. Luckily I've got until late next year to make it. I've been leaning heavily towards the 500, but a new car would be nice.

I dig the hell out of them, but not interested in owning one. I'm testing the limitations of my fucked up back as it is.
