I prefer regular Crown to Crown Black, personally.

If you like Ctown, like to mix with Coke, but want something different, try Makers Mark or Knob Creek.

Cask 16 is good, but expensive enough to make you feel guilty if you mix it with Coke.

I've been a whiskey drinker for year, mostly crown and JD. Through my stint over a couple of years running bars and music venues, I came to enjoy my crown and 7. I'm going to browse the local liquor stores and see what I can come up with tomorrow. I've seen some makers mark drinkers here, I also see a couple of knob creek drinkers. Anything special I should look for?

I like the plain ole' Maker's Mark. That with coke, even though I prefer diet cokes. Makes it less sweet and I can drink more of them.

I don't drink much, but I learned to drink it strait. I don't like it chilled, or on ice.

I'm not a fan of liquor that is kept in the freezer, seems to much like syrup for me, at least in shot form, though I love whiskey on the rocks.

Normally a Crown drinker (normal kind) but thinking about picking something else to start the year off with. Any ideas? Normally drink with soda unless I have a cigar then its neat.

Forty Creek tastes like dirt. I'd rather have bottom shelf Benchmark than Forty Creek.

In one sitting, how much do you guys drink?
I get the cheap shit, Jack/Crown/Makers only because I will polish off a .750 in a good night or two. Cost equals about the same as a 30 pack that would last the same amount of time.....

About like you but I try and pase myself or else my wife bitches because I blow through $30 in no time. I don't drink it only because of the taste, I drink for the buzz. My wife doesn't understand that concept.
