Two dudes hijacked a plane with box cutters and flew it into a building. Apparently the American public are too big of pussies to protect themselves. I've been patted and wanded and it wasnt a big inconvenience. Plus I wouldnt be stupid enough to think an airline is gonna let me bring food on board.

The TSA has failed to stop a single incident. Remember how they let a guy on the plane who lit his crotch on fire? Or the guy who lit his shoes on fire? Or the one who tried to force open the emergency exit or the guy who set off the smoke alarm in the bathroom?

The tsa can suck it. I have gotten through with gerber's, pocket knifes and live 5.56 rounds in my bags when I was in the marines. But they did stop me from bring a bottle of water once.

They pop kids, the elderly and soldiers for BS while letting Achmed through with blinking. Profiling works. Ask Israel

Well they're afraid to stop the middle easterners because they might be hassled for racial profiling. In reality all the TSA is there for is for peace of mind for idiots who believe in it.

That was hands down an intelligence failure, not a screening failure.

Well as of today (155,000 miles) I have yet to have a TSA agent yell at me or anything. They have popped me for carrying a tool belt (no tools) through that had one of my Grandpa's old knives in it (rusty, 1" blade...but it was a knife). As well as try to bring a 3.2 oz thing of Reese's ButterCup ice cream topping home from New York City (I was planning on sabatoging the Pilots by inducing them into a carb coma).

They have searched, searched and searched more my laptops. Maybe because I used to carry through (3) at a time and they thought one was a bomb?

No inconveniences, just popped the battery out and let them swab and I was on my way.

The true test will be this Thursday when I head out on AA with my Micro-ATX cube, keyboard/mouse in a customized wheel case. All those wires/hard drives/connectors are sure to get me flagged. If they make me take my computer apart piece by piece, Im going to be on the news.

It's funny, a couple of years ago, I had a TSA agent so worried about my laptop that they completely overlooked the hunting knife that I forgot to take out of my purse. When I found it at my destination, I mailed it back home.
