It's comida for white people but I went to Meso Maya at Preston/Forest last weekend and was impressed. It's supposed to be authentic mexican but it's kind of a mexican/tex mex fusion. Huge portions.

There used to be a place in Dallas called Mo(o)ngaras and that place had some TAP that would rock your face off! They used to be by Victory park accross the street from Hernandez that was next to El Finex. I guess after the guy died they closed it down.
Pastor tacos have to my favorite. Peppers Tacos makes good Pastor IMO.

I think Fuzzy's Tacos is crap. The only thing "good" there is the queso. I think they are "popular" because of their name.

It isn't limited to that store.

Fuzzy's is just ok to me, it isn't the end of the world if I have to eat there. I'd rather have it than fast food, that is for sure.

If you want some good breakfast food that isn't necessarily mexican, try Cafe Brazil. There is one at Coit and 190 in the same shopping center as central market.

Cafe Brazils Costa Rican coffee is the best. That shit will keep you up for two maybe three days straight

I'm with buuuusted, if I spend more than 30 on some tex-mex food, I start verifying the bill. It's the cheapest food you can buy.

I've recently got an itch for chiloso's in rockwall. Pretty good food.
                    La michoacana does it right.
That place off east grand and 30 damn near killed me, no joke. I was down for a day or two after eating there.
There's a lot of cafe Brazils in Dallas. Campbell and 75, and the one at deep elam are the only ones I have been to. And it isn't Tex-mex in my opinion.
And, you can forget about me stepping into an uncle Julio's. I dont even want to entertain the idea on spending that much money for shit I can make in my kitchen for 5 bucks.

oh, and the food wasnt the same either.
This is because you are in the wrong part of town. We had this conversation the other day, you know where to move. It is unbelievable!

Chiloso's, huh? I'm in Rockwall now, and will check it out. We're not used to having all these food joints around...Damn! I'm really liking it.

Check it out. It's busy all the time. Set of chipotle stiyle, but good food.

I actually liked their chorizo, and I dont rrally care for chorizo.
