i need to buy a copy of mine for a ticket dismissal, can you go somewhere downtown and get a copy? or do you have to do it online?

I think all you can get from your local office is the form to mail to Austin.

do it online and print it out yourself. i had to do mine that way just last week.

do it online usually takes 24 hrs for a response you have to sign a release form in tx I beleive and fax it back

However, be sure that the jurisdiction you got the ticket in will accept the online printout. I got one from West Texas, and they wanted it directly from the state (i.e. you fill out a form, and the record is sent directly to the agency you got the citation from). I had already printed out the online one, and sent it in... I bet they end up rejecting it but we'll see.
