I've taken the last 10 days of this year off and god it feels good. Going to do Christmas with the family tomorrow and sunday then the wife and I are off to Louisiana to donate some money to the Indians. After that I think I'll stay drunk and eat nothing but BBQ until Jan 2. Who else has called it quits to next year?

the same thing every day 0n I-35w but also towing another vehicle it's usually a 4x4 both loaded down with crap.

Me Me Me, got off on Thursday and not returning till the 3rd. My company lets everyone off. with pay and the managers all got Christmas $$$$$. Of course thats also our vacation because thay don't want anyone taking time off in the summer. I work for a large Landscape co.

I've been off since the 20th, and won't be back at work until the 3rd. I haven't taken much time off this year, so I am enjoying it much as I can.

I came home on Dec 9th and looks like I will be calling me boss on Tuesday and telling him to "take this job and shove it". 5 and a half years of contracting in Afghanistan has come to an end for me. Hopefully I will be starting my new job on or around the 9th of January.

So my Christmas gift to my wife this year is ME home for good. It will be a nice feeling when I miss my flight on Tuesday.
