Stay away from the Leinenkugel's Fireside Nut Brown. It says "with natural flavor" on the bottle. I guess it's natural feces.

I love that stuff! I'm no beer snob by any means, but I'll buy that stuff when I run across it. One of my customers was having a German themed party, and they were serving it there...that was the first time that I'd ever even heard of it. (07).

Paulaner and Franziskaner are popular, easy-to-find Hefes that you can try see the difference.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. Paulaner, Franziskaner, and Widmer are my favorite Hef's. Shiner Hef isn't bad for what it is though.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I'm not sure if there are places in DFW that serve Live Oak, I'm new to the area.-'89 Half-real Saleen with a belt squeak

it's also an ale because of the way it's fermented. Ale and lager have different fermentation styles, one with the yeast on the bottom of the tank and the other with it on the top.
blue moon is not filtered. it is a belgian style wheat beer. it's a different style from the german hefeweizen, which Shiner Hefeweizen is supposed to be.
Shiner Hefeweizen should be stuck more along the category of an american hefeweizen since it has that more citrusy bland flavor to it. Most german hefeweizens have notes of banana and clove.
I typed all this drunk.. sorry for errors.HD Parts
