is it a good choice for basic interior or should i request something different?
That looks like a good spot to me. It is a 1A which means it has a single bed on the floor and another that pulls down from the wall. The big Rome lounge is directly below you and I think all the seemingly empty space between the cabins is where the theater lighting and cabling is routed. If there is something going on in the lounge you'll probably hear it. They don't do shows after 11:00 though usually.

One benefit though is that there is an open forward deck right by your cabin. On this class of ship they hardly ever get used because you can't access them without walking through cabin corridors. On most classes you can walk from the front to the back on outer decks and everyone wanders that way, on these you have to usually ask someone how to get there.

My wife and I love to cruise. We have been on 7 over the past 5 years. Most were seven day trips and then we did a fourteen (back to back 7 day trips with different ports), our last trip was 12 days from Miami to Barcelona.

We have done an inside room once (14 day trip) and the rest have been balcony rooms which we are fans of.

Most of our trips were booked through Travelocity but the last two we did through the cruise line directly.

Having only been on Princess and Norwegian cruises I can not speak to the other operations but we are big fans of those two.

A ship vacation is not for everyone but they work well for us.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

My wife took me on a cruise two weeks ago for my birthday.

It will be our last for a long time.

I've been on three, two carnival, one royal Caribbean. The royal caribbean was 10 times nicer overall, from food, accommodations (rooms were way bigger), cleanliness, staff friendliness, etc.

5 days is the perfect amount of time. The one we just took was 7 days. It was too long for me. The boats have lots to do, but mostly eating, gambling, shows, and drinking. Make sure to plan in the budget if you drink, it is easy to spend $100 a day doing so. We spent about $600 with wine. W

Main reason I won't go on another cruise is because we would rather sit on the beach and drink, snorkle, eat, etc. All three stops we went straight to the beach and purchased a bucket of beer.

I've never had a interior room, but the cruise we took had a balcony and it was really nice. I think it was $1,400 for both of us with tax.

Every fucking dreadlock-headed mother fucker we saw asked if we wanted weed or reggae CD's in Montego Bay ! I couldn't wait to get on the ship and get the hell out of Jamaica.

I love Jamaica. As soon as we got home from the cruise last week the wife booked us a 5 night at the hilton there. We stayed for the day at the resort and were waited on hand and foot. I had never had a red stripe light before and I had one in my hand for all eight hours there. Jerk chicken is the bomb. Only one person asked if we wanted weed.

Red Stripe is the one good thing in Jamaica. That beer kicks ass.
