The most awesome gift I've gotten in a long time!

When I got to the office this morning there was an envelope that was hand-delivered late yesterday sitting in my chair. It was from one of my favorite clients, so I assumed it was something they needed me to work on. When I opened it up I about fell on the floor - it was my Christmas gift. It's an all expenses paid VIP package for the Barrett-Jackson auction next month in Scottsdale! It's 2 VIP passes for the whole week, reserved seating at the auction, an invitation to the opening night party and a reserved parking space in the VIP area. I've wanted to go to the Scottsdale auction for a long time and now I get to do it VIP style. I'm usually the one that buys friends, family and clients nice gifts, not the one getting them, so this is kind of weird but definitely badass.

I finally caught their auction in Vegas back in September, and it was a lot of fun. Tons of peripheral things to do, too. The amount of truly bad-ass cars is overwhelming.

I got to go with a friend to the last Mecum Auction in Dallas a couple of months ago. It was great. No car show could ever compete. I can only imagine how the Barrett Jackson sale could be. Takes lots of camera batteries and a couple of extra data cards.
