For the new 2013 Mustang, Ford has fitted a tiny projector lamp into the side mirror that casts the shape of the galloping horse logo onto the ground beside the vehicle when the driver unlocks the doors. This illuminated "Easter egg" seems simple enough, but apparently it took Dearborn's engineers quite a while to get it just right, going through six or seven designs before managing to get it to work.

Somebody will probably figure out a way to make it stay on all the time tho. Maybe make it flash 2 different images so while driving so the horse looks like it is running, LOL!

I think I'm going to have to buy one. The 650 horsepower just puts the icing on that cake. I'm not sure about the stripes though. I like the ones over the top and on the seats but hate the one on the rocker panel.

The 2013 GT500 looks to be a serious beast. I was under the impression the new GT500 was going to be just a TVS blower upgrade, but it's WAY more than that and a serious all around upgrade. From what I have read so far, the 650 rating seems to be very conservative rating. It's now a 5.8, TVS blower, new valves, upgraded TR6060, upgraded rear plus quite abit more. A simple pulley swap could yield an easy 700rw! Now, they haven't announced pricing which could be a killer, but I can't imagine it being too far ZL1 pricing which isn't too bad considering everything you get.

I wonder what the "Gotta have it green" looks like in the sun. I've seen pics from LA, but that's under fluorescent lighting.

The "Deep impact blue" seems pretty regular, but again, I would like to see it in the sun.

Wow. Looks amazing! I'd have to say the ONLY thing I don't like (other than the price of course, haha.) is the open grill, or lack of grill. Looks kind of odd too me, but I'm sure I will get used to it.
