    Will do.
It's kinda hard to find local, but can be done.

In the meantime, kill some time...

I have had my eye on a few c5 z06's, but like you said...most are overpriced.

You can snag a good C5z for less than 20 if you can wait and look hard, but they are holding steady. I would talk to stangin4life on here about vette's, the guy sold the nicest c5 i've ever seen.
I haven't looked at Corvettes in about 2 weeks so that would explain why I missed that one. I also had mileage at or below 45,000.

I found it on cars.com, granted I had to fly to Wisconsin and drive it the 1200 miles back home lol, and no it wasn't a Wisconsin car the dealer got it at auction and it came from California.

Hell I would sell it to for $25,000 if I still had it.
I had restricted that search to 500 miles.

OP, I agree, no C5s for less than $15,000 and no C5Z below $20,000 - although there are quite a few clean low mileage ones for low $20,000s.

I've seen several on ebay actually sell in the lower 20's. Funny thing is they were all yellow or black.

Find a $28k one thats been for sale for several months (lots of those on the forums) and offer $25k. You could buy one tonight if you looked with a $25k budget. I found a lot when I was looking in the late summer, and I know now is a much better time to buy.

You can either restrict search distance, or price point, otherwise you will be driving if you are in a hurry. I always have to drive several hundred miles when I find a deal, but I can live with the price.

I don't really want a Corvette so I wasn't looking that hard. I've been looking for CTS-Vs but because of the lack of those for sale I occassionally will look at the Corvettes for fun. I left fairly restrictive parameters in the search so that is probably why I wasn't seeing everything that is out there. No matter the car I'll travel for the right deal, but so far none have been worth their distance/price (to me).
