Anyone welcoming soldiers home?

Every year on Christmas day my dad and step mom go to DFW and welcome home the troops.

Does anyone else do this?

I think Stacy and I are going to go with them this year.

no, but we are welcoming home my FIL...he has been gone since the beginning. supporting the troops with the MRAPS and M1A1s. It has been a long time.....and when he gets done with this visit, the wonderful US Government is sending him to Afganistan on the 10th....my little boy is not gonna be happy at all....In his 7 years of life, his grandpa has been here approximately 1 year.

FYI... anyone can go do this...

I think it is awesome that my dad does this... he was never in the military so to me that makes it even better.

I am looking forward to going this year and this will more then likely be the first of many many Christmas's spent welcoming home the troops

I can let you borrow some military gear or give you a product hat. We supply them with a missile system that everyone loves over there.

just to brag on my dad some more... I just called him to see how he is enjoying driving the GTO this week and he was just getting home from buying $500 worth of toys like he does every year to give to random kids.

stand up guy, my dad is.

PS... He's loving the GTO and jonesing to get into his next car (project thread will start after the new years )
