questions about online defensive driving

got caught for speeding and decided to go the DD route. i have internet access here at work and on the weekends nobody is here so i can take the time to watch videos or whatever. only thing is i have to check on things here at the plant periodically, can i ''pause'' the videos and continue later or will it mess it up somehow? never did the online DD so just looking for experience from people who have

When I did it online, you could pause it and come back whenever you wanted.

Depends on who you do it with. I just did it, and you can watch and pause videos, but if you're idle for 7 minutes it auto logs you out and you lose time you've spent unless you hit "save" before you go off and do what you gotta do. Also be aware that when they ask any sort of question, you only have a minute or two to answer it and if you don't, it counts against you.

All you have to do is, let the videos play until they finish, then take the mini exams when they are done.

I didn't "watch" any of the videos, just let them play in the background, while I worked, and I passed all the tests

I believe you can pause the video. I think I had to when i did it a couple years ago.

I was going to do defensive driving until I found out that the deferment period for tollway tickets is only 24 hours, they reduce the ticket price by half, and you can do it as many times a year as you want.

I copied-pasted every web page then when I took the test, I just searched the key phrases for the answers. Never did actually read anything.

And ya, each page was timed so you couldn't quickly cycle through the content.

bingo! that is the answer i was looking for, i took a defensive driving course a few years ago and the "test" was a fucking joke

oh and last question, how many hours of video do i ''have to watch'' ?

By law the course has to take a minimum of 6 hours.
