I hit a bird but I wasn't going really fast so he just kind of slid up my windshield while still trying to fly and shitting at the same time. I imagine it scared the shit out of him too. I also hit a bird doing about 80 once in my cobra and he exploded into a giant poof of feathers, I thought it was hilarious but felt bad, till I got out and saw that his little pecker popped a hole in my headlight, then I didn't feel bad anymore and I just thought it was funny

Hit a buzzard between Karnack and Marshall years ago. Completely shattered the windshield, but the glass didn't cave in as long as I kept under 50 mph. Long trip back to FTW.

I took a bird to the helmet once on my motorcycle, doing about 45 mph. Shitting bricks doesn't even begin to describe it.

It does suck. I hit one on the tollway on the left shoulder/chest doing 60 (just getting on) ended up losing grip on the left side due to the impact....talk about pucker factor. I thought i was going down for sure, had to pull to the side and catch my breath, calm down, and check mah pants.

I about shat myself as well at 450 this morning flying from decatur to mineral wells the door swung open of the helicopter and I was solo.... LOL fucking cold.
