I'm lost in Scottish bliss at the moment. My sweet wife ordered another bottle of Mackinlay's Old Rare "The Discovery," and she ordered the newest batch, "The Journey." Both are outstanding, but completely different. I'll share pictures now and add my tasting notes later.

It was $356 shipped. The whisky price really isn't that bad, but the shipping and customs charges suck.

Btw, I stopped there Thursday night. Don't bother. Their beer selection is unimpressive and their prices on both liquor and beer are even less impressive.

Yep. Cheapest price I've found on it. That TW is by far my favorite stop for beer and liquor.

I'd already sampled a bit. It was very sweet, but not overpoweringly so. I had some rum-honey and cinnamon notes, and it was crazy warm. I had a couple whiskey newbs fight the heat.
