Yeah, that doesn't suck at all. Little too much ice, but nothing an extra finger (or 3) of TX wouldn't fix.

I added a bit more and a little filtered water. The TX is surprisingly good with just water. A nice sweet and caramely flavor.

I'm in. Maybe we need to do a scotch gtg (private invite only, please) somewhere. Everyone bring a bottle of their favorite, and everyone can taste as much / little as they want. If we could get a dozen people in it would be a pretty good time I think. Bring the wife/gf but leave out the riff-raff? Depending on guest list and size I might be willing to volunteer our house.

This is a good idea. I'd be in for that. We'd have to get a list of what everyone would be bringing so there wouldn't be multiple bottles of the same thing.

A whiskey drinking trip is not really in the budget these days. If it's in Pittsburgh and it's hockey season (and they're actually playing) I might be able to combine the activities on a single trip and justify the cost of the trip. Obviously if it's local I can probably make it much easier.
