  • Haha! That's fucking awesome, at first glance I thought you had a chocolate bar in your whiskey.

    • Yeah, that doesn't suck at all. Little too much ice, but nothing an extra finger (or 3) of TX wouldn't fix.

      • I added a bit more and a little filtered water. The TX is surprisingly good with just water. A nice sweet and caramely flavor.

        • ... and a hint of fruit.
          Very nice indeed.

Enjoying mine as I type this (Got a tan Ostrich this time).

          • As a huge Jimmy Buffet fan, I thought this was pretty awesome on my bottle of Stranahans whiskey.

              • I know, that's where I got the idea to try the ones I had and grab a pic. That has to be a piece of glass tho. Because the bourbon I poured on Han the second time melted the detail.

Bring the wife/gf but leave out the riff-raff? Depending on guest list and size I might be willing to volunteer our house.

                      ¿por que?
This is a good idea. I'd be in for that. We'd have to get a list of what everyone would be bringing so there wouldn't be multiple bottles of the same thing.

A whiskey drinking trip is not really in the budget these days. If it's in Pittsburgh and it's hockey season (and they're actually playing) I might be able to combine the activities on a single trip and justify the cost of the trip. Obviously if it's local I can probably make it much easier.

                      • Hockey season? Didn't they cancel that sport?

For now. Ironically a hockey season ruined by a lockout is still better than a regular season of any other sport currently being played.

                            • Have you tried this Matt?

My brother bought a bottle for me for my b/d.
The stuff is outstanding (for a Canadian Whiskey).
