The point is why not just buy a car with that money and still have at least something somewhat worth the value you've invested? I've never built a car from scratch or anything though, don't listen to me! Being a 96 GT 15k was a conservative estimate. Why not start with something that isn't a pile of shit to begin with, like a Yugo?
