I keep platinum for my 7.62x39 rounds. Although, I haven't saved up enough for my ak yet.

While I do think it is a good time to pick some up, the majority of the load I got was during the pre-$20 prices (some well below) when I was screaming it from the rooftops. I buy it to hold, but if you want to make a "quick buck" off the precious metals, I go with some calls and puts on those silly little ETFs
