      The test panel is usually Amphetamine/Methamphetamine. I have never seen one that had Methamphetamine singled out as the metabolites are so closely related, the only difference being one is single methylated and the other is double methylated.


      Having said that, amphetamines are actually prescribed quite regularly for a myriad of things.

      Is he prescribed anything for his dementia? What is it?

      What are the people who care for prescribed?

      There is a possibility that it was purely accidental, but without more information you're just guessing.

              AFAIK his intent was to get grandpa dependant on him so he could bilk him for money. Lucky grandpa had people looking out for him, the doctor said another dose would have likely killed him.
