I have a Streamlight SL-20 that is over 20 years old. I bought a LED upgrade and it is bright, but not as bright as the new Fenix PD32 UE.
But, the Streamlight doubles as a lead pipe.

I recently ordered the Fenix TK35 and really like it. I had a nice Streamlight, but it got destroyed when it somehow got left in the yard. I loved my Streamlight, but I think I prefer my new Fenix. It's a little heavier, but it also feels more solid that the Streamlight.

I've had or have 20 surefires...that being said I haven't been disappointed yet.
I use them and then put them in a car or give them away to peop
le as gifts or for helping me with stuff.
Also you may not find a surefire that meets your needs, there are many equivelent brands that are to a close standard to surefire(streamlight, Felix, ect.) Find the one you like the best because they will be around a long time.
I also like the cr123 battery better than AA or other low output batteries. They are reasonably priced through surefire

Are filters available for the 21? I don't see any that will fit it, that's why I was looking at the 15.

Yawns.... I have a 1000 lumen single emitter maglite that will run for over 4 hours on that output. I have another single emitter that will do 2300 lumen. These are custom made though, cant buy them off the shelf.
