My in laws had the same mailman for years unti he retired. They got a new one who put a note on their door stating they had to put a mailbox outside because their mail slot near the door would not work for him. I told them to tell him to pound sand, but they went ahead and did so...*SMH*

Ours is pretty cool. Side note, fkn trucker tagged my mailbox again. Last time i pounded 8 feet of thickwall drill pipe in the ground with my backhoe then welded 1/4 channel on top. Box is secured with two screws. Box got flung off virtually untouched pole was turned slightly with a chunk of rubber tire hanging off the channel. Hope it cost him a $300 tire.

I avoid UPS when the option is available. They're probably paid by the number of deliveries and a missed you notice counts as one.

I'm a little irritated with USPS myself. I renewed my P.O. Box online and yet after 3 business days it's still locked and they are holding my mail. I have to take my receipt down and speak to the Postmaster.

I use USPS whenever possible. Always the fastest shipping and if its not over a couple lbs they are the cheapest as well.

I will not buy another thing that ships usps from anyone. I just hate it when I pay that much only to have to waste my gas, and my time.

I was on a fire, couple crews deep in a house fighting the beast. Damn mail jeep runs over our 5" main supply hose to the engine that pumps our hoses water. Get's caught under her jeep and rips the hose. We lose all water and we are in a burning house with no water forced to RUN out the front door before we burn to death!

She drives off like nothing happened.
