I had a sleep walking scare when i was younger. When my 12 year old son was about 4 he slept walked right out of the apartment in the middle of the night. Pushed a chair up to the door and unlocked the deadbolt and walked down a few parking lots and some guys walking saw him crying because he had no clue where he was. They walked around untill they saw the open door and then knocked on it waking me up. I heard him screaming and ran down to the door in my boxers with my pistol and forgot my glasses. Im blind as a bat without them so i have no idea what these guys looked like but just explained what happened and split. Just thinking about it makes my nervous as hell.

I put a chain at the very top of the door the next day.

My grandmother has alzheimer's, and sleepwalks. We've found her 5-6 houses down several times. Pretty scary.

My son sleep walks from time to time. I'm a night owl, so sometimes I don't know if it's sleep walking or just those barely awake trips to the toilet, etc. One night, I go lock up, turn out the lights, etc. Walk in to the bathroom and wasn't really paying attention. Well, the boss man's wife is a cold and conservative hispanic woman with the personality and sense of humor of a brick. Knowing that she was already "Satan" mad at the idea of the boss man coming home so late on a weeknight all drunk and loud with a freind in tow, they passed out in the living room to avoid her wrath.
