Glad y'all noticed that too. Cops, soldiers, everyday normal people get crippled all the time doing more important things. Things that are important to everyday life (i.e. "blue collar" jobs...etc...etc) and the news would never cover that to this extent.

I could be wrong, but she seems to be a snotty kids, who got bored of flying around in a plane looking at light (unlike most of us who do it from a car) and was too distracted to pay attention.

Don't confuse my irritation for the media. I still have some amount of sorrow for her, but the media just pisses me off.

the blood in some of your bodies is stone cold....haha shit happens this story should have been over with a few days after the accident. atleast she isnt dead and maybe she wont be so worried about looks now. the pilot should have got off his ass and escorted her from the plane IMO.

It's not quite the same thing as walking into a curb. It's real noisy, and it's pushing a lot of air, and anyone with two brain cells should understand that it should be avoided.

Either way, it obviously can (and does) happen. Sucks for her.

I might believe in creationism, but Darwin had a very good point when he came up with natural selection. If you are not aware of your surroundings enough to not walk into a damn propeller that is running on the plane your just stepped out of, I do not feel bad for you.

You know maybe she left her sugar for her morning coffee in the plane. Nothing worse than having to go ask the neighbor for that shit at 8am.
