Nope, my wife has the vagina in our house. Now if we are both going somewhere I will sometimes go and warm it up for her before we leave.

Ya, because real men don't give two shits about being comfortable.

I bet you wear wooden shoes and take cold showers every morning.

Hell I do it every day in my f150 and my wife's Edge to warm the engine for driving and to either cool or heat the interior.

Waste of gas. I turn my car on, walk towards the gate to open it, reverse, close gate, and take off. I'll turn the heat on about a 1/2 mile after. It doesnt get cold enough here for that BS.

My brother got a ticket for it in Willow Park when he lived there... It was in his work truck and the doors were locked... The judge didn't care that it was about 20 outside and e was just letting it warm up...

I've also set lash on motors running that had almost no oil come out at all (at idle), little blip on the gas and oil shoots everywhere, but at idle little to none (and yes, the motor was very healthy). Not saying that it'll kill it, but I don't believe that sitting at idle for 20 minutes every morning is healthy for a gas engine.

If it's below 50 deg I'm using the remote start and letting it warm up. Well worth the extra fuel costs.

20 mins sounds like way to much. I let mine warm till I hear the engine change tone down. Tells me it is ready on average 1-2 minutes in the cold.

You guys didn't get snow in DFW???

From Abilene to Odessa there was snow. And the Midland Odessa area still had flurries at around 3-4 this afternoon.

I drive diesels, so no idling to warm up here. Cold idling is the worst thing you can do on a diesel.

I fire it up, set my radio station, and ease onto the road.

gas cars warm up so fast, I just hop in and drive. It's not like it gets THAT cold in TX

                                ....

                                Did not know that.

What temp does the plug in block heaters generally get them to? My truck is out of MO so I have the dangle down in front...
