                  I did not know being a bat boy was a paying gig....I thought it was just suppose to be something fun for a kid.

                  but lets see.....40k for 81 games at approx. 10 hrs per game.

                  40k for approx. 810 hrs of work equates to almost $50 per hour.

                  Damn ...where do I sign up?

                          You're way off. I'm sure taxes were taken out of the check and how do you figure 10 hrs per game?

                              And if taxes were taken out that means he actually made $50,000 assuming a 25% tax rate.

                              $50,000 / 810 = $61.72/hour.
