Just hope you don't actually have to use the warranty with those worthless fucking clowns. 6 month old TV took them 28 days to replace. Ended up just buying a new TV and selling the refurb POS they sent me on Craigslist.

Yeah not yet thankfully. I dont use it much as it's the tv in my game room but I would probably just buy a new one anyways. They seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper

          here's what you do:

          1. go to the post office and get a change of address packet (has a lowe's 10% off card in it)

          2. go to home depot, find one you like, get them to match an online price that is less (if you can find it)

          3. purchase it, use the 10% lowe's coupon and use my cell number for an additional 3% off

At least it's your profession. Having knowledge on how to fix something puts you light years ahead of me.

I was lucky to find this:

I've had my Bravia 50" LCD for about 3 or 4 years now. All I've had to do was replace the bulb element thingy and that was just a few months ago.

I'm sorry, but at least I refuse to give the serviceman a blow job.

I hope this isn't a debilitating injury. Back injuries suck.

Another thing I learned from this is that dryer heating elements degrade. I was able to dry a full load in 20 minutes. The same load would run 40 minutes with the old element. It might be smart to change them every 3-4 years.

My dryer is about 10 years old and works great. This is the second element I've replaced. The last one was $45 several years ago. It's amazing how much the price has inflated. Makes me want to buy a spare now before they hit $100.

Man I laughed at this. I saw the hydrant picture before I read, and thought "must have been a call he was on on his bad day".

As soon as I read "cross threaded the inlet" I cracked the fuck up. I don't know whats better, this, or picturing CJ "...and kick the door in like seal team 6 and the son of a bitch escaped"

Might have been the lint you blew all over the roof. We had a fairly new dryer pop a fuse not to long ago. When I replaced the fuse I cleaned out my lint hose and outside vent and it cut the drying times in half.
