So my buddy just called me and asked me if I wanted to buy his cobra... A little history of the car.
It's an 04 cobra
31,500 miles
2.6L kenne bell
not 100% sure on specifics of the fuel system, but I think it's just some new rails and 2 255 lph pumps with 60 lb/hr injectors. I know that it maintained fuel pressure and a/f ratio when tuned.
brand new set of tires
very clean car to say the least.
there is a lot more little stuff but that's the meat and potatoes of it all.
Basically his daily just blew up and he doesn't want two payments (he's still paying for the cobra) I've wanted a cobra, literally since they came out. Only thing is I'm in the middle of my fox project. I can't really swing what he's wanting right now, but if I can get mine back together and sell it I'd buy his. I trust this guy like my brother, and am not worried about what I'm about to say....
But am thinking about offering to take over his payments until I get my fox sold and then just pay him the balance. He's asking 20K for it.
I guess I'm asking, am I crazy to obligate myself to him for the car? And is the car worth the money? Thanks for responses in advance, lol.
edit: Car isn't beat up or "loose" at all. Still very tight and it made 605 rwhp last time it was dyno'd.
