All for greed. This kinda reminds me of a Scooby Doo episode... they probably would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky kids driving down the highway with their camcorder.

Who tries to pull off this scam while other cars are on the road? It is unbelievable.

I remember when this happened! First stretch came on (dif site) and denied it was the same guy he posted about earlier in the month that just got a new buggatti (his friend). Then he came on and made up all kinds of BS. Finally he used the " wartch oot for da pelican" BS and theeeeen this video surfaced and stretch was never to be heard from again on that site.

                  Lol at that situation.

so if someone did want to get rid of a vehicle and collect the insurance money, how would one go about doing it and not getting caught?

A good start would be to make sure you're not being filmed while destroying the car

                          I love it.

Frankly I usually think there's some scam shit happening around outrageously expensive cars. Glad to hear this scamming mofo is getting his due.

I don't get it for the $1MM claim. Doesn't the car cost $1MM? Doesn't he just break even?

The watery demise of the valuable Veyron, recorded for posterity on an amateur video that has received nearly 2.6 million views on YouTube, is being challenged by the company that provided $2 million in collector-car insurance for the car, according to a report from Courthouse News Service.
They had it insured for $2MM
