It's not that hard. Anyone that does a real ins claim does it dead at night just you and a friend to take you back home. Plus you do it in the middle of nowhere with not a sole in sight.

Lighter fluid under the dash. I was told by an adjuster years ago that this is the single most popular method used. Supposedly leaves little to no trace of an accelerant. Of course, your mileage may vary.
