So this court case has been rescheduled twice. I have changed my work schedule twice. Now this time the date is to close I cant change my schedule and I will get to lose 1/3 of my paycheck as I work 3 12hr shifts a week. This sucks. My 2-3 minutes of questions for 1/3 of my paycheck in which I wont benefit from the suit....it has nothing to do with me. I work in healthcare and I cant just leave for 1/2 a day or anything as my ICU patients wont have anyone to take car of them.

It could be worse, could be like a poor guy I work with where the mailed him the summons the day before he was due to be in court at 830am, he received it in the mail that afternoon when he got home from work, tried to call and ask about it and they said they already issued a warrant. It was written 3 days prior and some lazy clerk never mailed it till the last second...
