Almost as much as the court/probation costs. I know I'm not innocent in any of this, but the government are a bunch of theives. I guess two wrongs make a right to them. Those fuckers still have all the cash that was in our pockets, and my cell phone that I got pulled over with.

I guess I can't complain though, i knew what would happen if I got caught. I needed to stop breaking the law asshole.

Yes they are. From the top to the bottom, they're corrupt. It's just a matter of their getting caught, though that doesn't mean a damned thing when you look at people like Rangel and Waters and...

oh, are you an O/O? that would make sense (gross pay)

i make around 50 a yr, and i'm home every weekend and can pretty much go home at will, and only drive in texas with the rare excursion into Ark and La. I havent met very many HONEST drivers that make that much money that arent O'O's with under 5 years of experience. I've thought about getting into oil field stuff, but just dont have any idea where to start, and it seems kind of sketchy with how fast the industry can boom and then just completely shut down an entire region and lay everybody off.
Lol, we have a few guys that make real close to 100k at my job. Not O/O!
I'm off 3 days a week and only gone 1 night and I'll be close to 80k this year. I'm in food delivery so you actually have to work at my job. We have guys quit all the time cuz they're just used to driving and not physical work.

          We're hiring...

let me guess... Mcclanes? I've applied there quite a few times but never hear anything back. I'm 28 in decent physical shape, i have no problem with loading/unloading, actually would be nice to help keep the pounds off me. sounds like you have a really nice schedule, though.

MBM in lewisville... They pay better than most food distributors. I'm number like 70 out of 115 on driver seniority, so there are better and worse schedules. My current bid pays about 1400/week depending on piece count. But if I dropped my backhauls day on Tuesday it would pay about 1250 and I'd have 4 days off.

I work extra routes quite a bit, some guys do, some guys don't. Depends on how much you wanna make.

They let anybody have a cdl!!

<- has a class cdl with tanker, hazmat and double triple endorsement!!

I read the book took test passed them

For hazmat all they did was ask questions like " who is responsible for loading load?"
                    A. Shipper
                    B. Driver
                    C. Receiver
                    D. Your mom

It's scary how easy the test was, the hardest part of it all was going to get my picture taken and fingerprints!

Getting its easy finding some one who will hire you with no seat time is the hard part. At least one worth working for anyway. Bottom feeders love you guys with no seat time. Free slave labor.

The cdl tests are a piece of cake. I passed the permit, air brakes, combination, general knowledge, pre-trip, tanker endorsement, and doubles/triples endorsement in like 45 minutes. I didn't take the hazmat or passenger endorsement. The school is mostly for driving hours. They teach you how to actually drive the trucks, and then help you out getting a job. I gotta tell ya'll, i'm a bad ass at parrallel parking semis now.

I just give my stuff to my traffic lawyer...

Ive gone down the route of doing it my self and spent more than what the ticket was. I had proof from the state that a state road that kennedale was patroling had the wrong MPH signs posted. I had the site map, the papers signed by the mayor approving the MPH changes. Yet the contractors set them wrong. Even had the work order that the contractors were going back to change the wrong MPH signs.

I still got fucked.. and got lectured how I shouldnt be driving a vehicle 15mph over (actually 10 over if the correct signs were posted) with a headlight out. I was like I cant prove I fixed it because i sold the truck but have the reciept the same mornignt i got the ticket where I bought the bulb later on. But at midnight I dont have much options in your great town of kennedale to get a bulb at the time of night.

But they dropped the speeding ticket but they charged me almost 300$ for a headlight ticket, and court fees, etc.

But then again it was kennedale, they are almost as bad as DWG and Pantego.
