Real ocd about this, only problem is the freaking two piece clips they make move the light position. Really tired of getting up there and fixing them and I'm not glueing everyone of them till they come down.

Hobby Lobby had a few. They're the only one I can find C9 lights at and the transparent bulbs for them. I'm not exactly sold on the LED lights yet.

I did my trees/yard over 3 days last week and it was much easier. Paid a guy $120 to put up the house lights (take down is incl in price). I switched over to LED this year and so far have over $400 (lights only, $520 with labor) invested but should save around $100/season in elec cost.

Lights are still in the attic and I don't foresee that changing lol.

I might try the brick clips if I can find them locally and their inexpensive.

Hang crafts, decorations, wreaths to brick without having to drill a hole. Metal fastener clips onto face of brick and has hooks to help hold pictures, tools, flags, stockings, and a variety of crafts.

Fuck that man, most of mine are still up on the roof, just have to plug em in. I used to go all out with the lights, had people stopping to take pictures, but here recently, I just haven't felt it.

I had a guy come out and make a custom setup for my roof, and they are in the attic. The wife wants them up this year, but that dude fell off the earth a while back, and I don't have a tall enough ladder for my tall ass house.

we are doing the tree tonight but I very seriously doubt I'll get on the roof this year. our daughter just turned one so she won't know the difference

probably starting next year I'll HAVE to do it so why not skip this year

Nope. You can not see our house from the road therefore I do no outside decorations.

I got hooks all around the house and it takes 10 minutes to hang the icycle lights using a pole with a hook on the end. I hung ours during half time of the cowboys/dolphins game.
