One of my favorite high school teachers was killed Tuesday. Riding his bike and an SUV turned in front of him. Happened in Florida.

        R.I.P

Worked with the CCME's office for a couple years, and kids are the worst. And consequently I have seen more death than I cared for.

It has taught me to appreciate life, though. So kiss those babies and hug those loved ones people, 'cause they might leave you behind the next time that they go to the store. Or walk out to the driveway. Or go to the bathroom. You just never know.

Just love your people while you can, because there are no guarantees in life.

The driver's legs were pinned in the car when the crash happened. Police said the driver was concsious at the time and was able to talk with bystanders while he waited for rescuers to arrive.

During the wait, the van caught fire. The man was not able to get out of the vehicle. He died from his burns.

The driver’s name has not been released.
what a way to go... as i was helping the guy that hit me the other day some other people hauling ass almost hit us while i was talking to him to see if he was alright. warning triangles or flares really help alot. i have alot of respect for those that get out there in the road to clean up someones screwup with all these idiots driving around. i damn sure wont be driving in any inclimate weather besides rain helf the folls on the roads have no business behind the wheel in good weather.
