  • Street value vs kbb or nada

Ok so I found a possible stang to trade for. He's saying it wouldn't be a fair trade but both vehicles are priced at the same on CL. I see his argument when KBB or NADA ding my bike at 3,600ish bucks. But, just like fox bodies, they are worth way more on the streets. I'm advertising 6k obo and I also went to jaxed.com (site that broad searches all area CL, eBay, and kijiji) and my bike is in the middle All the bikes I found. Cheapest being a rough drifter 1500 at buy it now in Olga WA for 4k and most expensive at 7700... 5500-6000 is average market. Ok, sorry for the novel but I wanted that out before I asked my ?. What do I do to explain to him that both vehicles are the same value, that this drifter is a special edition limited run (99-05) bike and that it's value is almost double then what the online blue books show? Again, like fox bodies and wranglers...

Granted I know I probably won't win this fight. But it was with a try. 95 GT auto (ick), leather, cd, power everything, with 59k miles....

Tanner, sadly it hard to use any NADA or KBB values right now. They are worth what you can get. I doubt you will be able to use either to convince him if he's doubting.

      It is worth trying.

          Keep the bike, IMO.
