Can this be a sticky for a few days? Just to honor his memory. I know he was a friend to many many people on this site...

Met him once at the Plano Friday Night GTG. Great guy from the moment I shook his hand. RIP brother. May you be winning many races up in the heavens.

RiP to a fellow member. Never met him in person and it is a shame with how the rest of you describe him, cause he sounded like one badass friend.

Glad I got to spend some times getting to know him. I went to buy some parts for my LT1 from him years ago, before I knew it we'd been chatting for like 3 hours in his driveway like old buddies. Used to BS around on AIM too. Shawn was a good dude.

                    RIP buddy.

Shawn was the kind of guy that really would help you with anything and it would only require a thank you. He is one of the very few people here to drive the BAD-SVT, from Ennis to to Allen. I was driving the 40ft RV and he was following me home in my car. The Friday and Sat. at FFW there were no less than 50 ppl in and out of our camp and on Sunday only Shawn to help me drive home.

The motor that was in my Camaro (Ls3), we put it in the Trailblazer. Figured he wanted a 5th gen so ba and he loved mine.....we put a transplant in it. It made 470 to the wheels so the legacy of the street machine lives!
