  • Plumber recommendations for south fort worth?

Just want a recommendation flushed the water heater since it was coming out of the bathtub faucets at a weak stream and now no hot water at all.
Water heater is only 3 years old so i'm sure its something else

often when you do that you will blow rust or calcium thru the lines...
take off the aerators and try...

Water still comes out but it didn't stop my problem.

Both bathtubs in the house whenever they are turned on with cold water they flow really good but whenever you switch to hot water it becomes a little stream..... Any ideas?

do you have a valve on the inflow and outflow of the tank?
if so what kind? ball valve or gate valve...slim possibility if it is the gate that has come unscrewed... but i have seen it happen...

Sounds like the calcium/ deposits clogged up your shower valves

              no I dont.

And does that mean I should just change out the shower valve/assembly?

                    you just shit in there....
shut the water off at the main (meter or your house)
pop the valve out... clean it and slide it back in... i would use plumbers grease on the valve seats or o- rings..

So take apart the shower valve with the water off and slide it back in with plumbers grease that's it?

would that explain why both bathtubs went out at the same time though?

Yeah, jus turn the water off to the house then remove the stem. Have someone put their hand over the open valve and go turn the water back on for 5 Mississippi. Grease up and slide back in. If that doesn't fix you need to prolly replace your shower valves due to mineral build up in the small channels of the valve
