GM and ford have switched places. GM used to be slightly faster (stock) now it appears the tables have turned. If you can afford it, anyway. I think the 650hp Shelby is going to be quicker straight-line than the 580hp ZL1, but it's quite possible the ZL1 will be faster around a road course. I CANNOT wait for the comparison tests in the car mags, it's going to be fun.

Either way, it's a great time to be a horsepower car enthusiast. Seriously, factory stock 580hp Camaros and 650hp Mustangs? It's nuts.

It's 54,995. The zL1 Camaro shareS the same suspension as the CtS v. The worlds fastest 4 door sedan. It's an IRS vs solid axle and 50 less hp, the suspension is nice. Can't beat it.

Exactly. Ford's solid axle is working for them, but it's still annequated. I hope the Camaro designers let those guys at Cadillac draw them a nice picture of what they've done. It's impressive.
