How do yall deal with the weather? I just got a really really good job offer to work on cell towers around the DFW area. I was thinking about getting one of those dickies suits but don't know if they would cut it during the coldest days of winter

I worked flight lines for 8 years. Find yourself a decent zip up coverall with a hoody. I also made sure it was just large enough to fit my coat on underneath for the bad days. I even went a step further and periodically treated it with Camp Dry to water proof it better than off the shelf. Also, pick up a neoprene face mask for the nose, ears etc. Keeping the cold off your face made all the difference to me.

x2 and the dickies suit help a lot! With the layers if you get too hot. Take a layer off.

            this!

I didn’t like the neoprene masks so I took a bandana and a old fleece blanket and made a face mask with Velcro in the back for easy on off.

              Believe it or not, pantyhose.

I ran a large portion of the state for quite a while in which I had a large number of guys outdoors every day. Those that tried the pantyhose all said that it made a huge difference.

Go to academy at the end of hunting season and you can get some steals on the camo underarmor stuff. Thick underarmor and some insulated coveralls should keep you warm in just about anything dallas has especially if your moving around.

Don't forget to get good socks too, nothing worse than having cold feet.

carhart overalls, carhartt quilted jacket, wool ski socks, and a wool beanie is thuis shit...
if your gonna be against snow/ wet conditions, i use to be on ski rescue in tahoe and daily attire was nylon waterproof ski attire. being cold is one thing... being wet and cold is another.... use duck back on your shoes to keep them dry.
