Prices on new roofs...recently

For those of you who have gotten new roofs in the last few months.....what did you pay? I just got a bid for $6300. A year ago these were just under $4000.

I know shingle prices have gone up a little. But I got a quote about a year ago for 4K also. Hopefully the prices don't go through the roof (pun intended) when I am finally ready. I'm looking to get mine done around the 1st of the year.

Pitch is 4 X 12, under shingle qty it says 29.58 w/o waste, 32.53 with waste

You always go with the latter figure, as that figures in... the waste...


4/12 by 33 is an easy roof. Shoot me your number and I will call you tomorrow, can get it knocked out in about 7 hours on Friday or Saturday if that works. Though there is a 30% chance of rain on Saturday, for now.
