I remember the day I was going 140+ in a 65.. a cop on the other side of 287 saw me coming his way, slammed my brakes on, he nailed me at 98mph.. pulled over and started laughing as I waited for him to come up behind me.. I could've cared less (I have a problem with authority), he comes up and says "going a little fast there dontcha think?" I said "yep" (him) "I know how it is, I used to have a fast car when I was your age, of course...mine was a Chevy".....thought to myself, you MOTHER FUCKER!!! LOL, we laughed about it, then talked cars for a couple minutes and went about our days. During the hours of daylight in a SY Cobra with open country on 287.. I had no where to run.. Sure as hell wasn't like home in West Fort Worth. FTP

I do sometimes but not all the time.

That still doesnt implicate karma, because driving like a mad man doesn't harm anyone, atleast mine hasnt.

$1500 is minimal considering the long range implications. My company wouldn't hire you until you posted 5 years of clean driving record. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get sketchy.

1500 for a retainment fee is straight ridiculous.

I went to jail for "reckless driving with the endangerment of pedestrians" when I was 18 because I came out of Austin College parking lot sideways and there were some people playing soccer across the street and down one block.

Had it taken care of and expunged off my record like it was never there.

Sometimes it takes lessons like that to make you wake up to what's really going on around you.

just think of how much stuff you could buy for your car instead of giving a lawyer 1500

nitrous, slicks, used intake/cam, maybe heads if you can find some cheap enough. Can't pull you over again if they can't catch you

been there done that cost me a car though just to pay tickets and crap id say lesson learned
