Credit Unions, FTW. Most are networked with other CUs and you can conduct business the same in a networked one, the same as if you were in your own. I'm with Fort Worth Community CU, and they've always been great. Can also use ATMs at 7-11s for free.
And a big Fuck You! to Compass. I was stuck needing to use the ATM a couple of weeks ago and they were all that was around. Those crooks charge $4 to non-Compass cards."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

I have my main accounts with Chase and we only use the cards as credit to get our points, the ATMS are npot hard to find for chase as well. I also have an account with Wells Fargo and same thing they have quite a few ATMs around town. I have a savings and checking ING Direct, the ATMs impossible to find around town. I have been happy with chase since we opened out account with Bank United in 98 and have been with them thru all the buyouts.
